I do this through coaching and training people on the use of my proprietary TRU^ID program. I bring 25+ years of business experience and 6000+ hours of Coaching experience to coaching leaders and professionals in the not-for-profit, for-profit and government sectors.
I am an Executive Coach and received my coaching training through CoachU. I hold a Bachelor of Education through the University of Calgary.
In my work I have Coached leaders and professionals within local police force agencies, in city services, healthcare, and offers Coaching through two Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs), to name a few. I currently coach through several on-line coaching platforms. Within these coaching platforms I have coached across multiple industries and companies: Google, Meta, Federal Reserve Bank, Amex, Dolby, Disney, Capital One, Deloitte, Warner Brothers, Roche Pharmaceuticals, Ellis Don Contruction, Good Year, Dell, Jones Lang Lasalle, to name a few. As well as coaching I currently facilitate regularly for KII Health Canada, an employee assistance program, offering well-being webinars.
My coaching is all about creating a safe place for my clients to explore:
• Their deeply held beliefs and attitudes
• The life and work experiences that shape the lens they use to look at the world
• Patterns and habits and how they impact lives
• Their weaknesses, failures, and mistakes
• How to leverage their strengths
• How to increase the meaning and passion in their work
I believe I’m a master at leveraging the power of humour with my clients to help them anchor what they learn and use the principles of neuroscience in her coaching process as well. I often employ role play, guided imagery, mind/body, and positive psychology within my calls. As an Executive Coach, I am versed in the 360 Process, EQi 2.0, MBTI, Learning Styles, and Values in Action (VIA) Character Strengths Survey. I also have a strong passion for personal branding and co-authored book on the subject: Me, My Brand and Why. I am skilled in Coaching to support clients in navigating conflict.
Prior to becoming a Coach, I worked in the Oil & Gas industry as a Project Manager (managing suppliers) and in the Accounting, Public Relations & Communications, Organizational Development, Training, and Curriculum Development business functions. I was also a teacher for 9 years.
I actively support the Coaching community as a credential assessor for:
• University of Texas
• International Coach Federation (ICF)
Both of these roles require a high degree of understanding of the process and competencies required of coaching.
I’ve served on the board of directors for several nonprofit organizations. Within the nonprofit sector, I’ve led leadership and board development workshops and represents these groups through public speaking engagements. I currently volunteer on a committee called the Patient Care Network of British Columbia, Canada. This group is engaged in making sweeping changes in patient care within the province.
As part of an annual public education initiative I wrote, acted in, directed and edited a television show called Chance for Change which aired on the local television network (CRTV).
