I am an Executive and Leadership coach holding a Master Certified Coach credential from ICF. I come with 35 odd years of rich wholistic experience as a Business Head, HR Head and Academician. I have spent 20 plus years in senior leadership roles including as a partner in a startup software firm. During this time and later as a full time coach, I have coached/mentored and developed 200+ leaders towards business, professional and personal goals.
Coaching:
Over the last 30 odd years of professional life, I have accumulated 4000+ coaching hours, coaching people on life and professional goals. My clients are from different demography’s and from across the world.
Some interesting coaching experiences have been with coaching young millennial leaders, first line managers and young individual contributors. I have also coached entrepreneurs, founders and CXO’s of organizations in different sectors like IT, Manufacturing, Hospitality and Retail.
I am an accredited Team Coach Practitioner and an accredited Coach Supervisor from EMCC (European Mentoring and Coaching Council).
I am also a coach trainer and coach mentor having trained and mentored more than 100 coaches towards their ICF credentials.
Empowering, enabling and developing people have always been my areas of deep passion. Some of the areas of coaching that particularly interest me are (a) Women leadership and Empowerment (b) Transformational Leadership Coaching (c) Transition Coaching
Engineering:
The first 22 years of my professional life were spent working in the IT industry for companies like TCS, IIT Bombay and Sasken Communication Technology. During this period I also operated an organization in partnership for 3 years. As part of my journey in engineering I handled small to large, domestic to international and simple to complex projects involving teams of 5 people to 30 odd members. This journey also included being a core member of CMM Level 5 assessment initiative as a trained Internal Quality Auditor and certified Project Management Professional from PMI.
HR professional:
After 22 years of engineering I shifted gears to work as Head of HR, Head of Development and Growth and Managing Employee – Manager Relationships. During a period of 4 years I was responsible for developing innovative systems in HR. I also trained and developed number of leaders during this period.
Academician:
Around 10 years were also about building future leaders/managers through education by being engaged in teaching business subjects in management schools. Organizational Behavior and Organization Development are my areas of interest and specialization.
Other:
I have trained 100+ leaders as part of the Leadership body of Landmark Education LLC over 8 years.
Prevention of Sexual Harassment [POSH] at Workplace:
I have been a strong advocate for women empowerment during my career spanning 30 + years. I have been part of Internal POSH Committees of organizations and have presided as external member for Internal committees. I have expertise and knowledge in this area and have added value by providing a fair judgment and advice in my role as an external member while handling cases.
